‘T20 is becoming more important than the 50-over format’
Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB) cricket tasks administrator said that they feel all around the world T20 is acquiring ground and turning out to be a higher priority than ODI design. Jalal said the BCB are quick to treat T20Is in a serious way proceeding.
It was Pakistan's amazing paceman Wasim Akram, who previously said that ODIs are becoming dull and players will likewise find the briefest configuration better and a lot of others had communicated concern with respect to the ODI design.
Jalal felt that ICC also was giving more significance now to the T20 design.
While discussing the plans they needed to attempt new
players in Zimbabwe, Jalal said: "You will see that T20 is turning out to
be a higher priority than the 50-over design, given the manner in which ICC is
arranging. We feel that worldwide cricket will zero in erring on the more
limited form before very long and that is the reason we need to truly take
T20s. We will require time since we need to ponder T20s once more," he
said.
Jalal said that the board was not disheartened with
the outcome in the T20 series and said the group will return more grounded.
"We had an exact arrangement [in Zimbabwe] and
that is the thing we attempted to execute there. The players we were pondering
didn't turn up with the outcomes. Be that as it may, we're not frustrated and
we will return in the future," he said.
